Houdini HDA : MDA Set point value
The MDA Set point value HDALC, is a HDA suitable for use in Houdini Indie. It offers a simple way to set point positions to a minimum, average (mean), centroid (bounding box), or maximum value of the points being processed.
Points can be left as input, or moved along any combination of the XYZ axes as required - and can also be offset from those calculated positions. All changes can be modulated using an f@mask attribute.
A simple to operate, but very helpful tool for averaging and aligning wayward points!
The HDA is unlocked and all VEX code is commented. Great for learning if you are new to Houdini.
